I met with Beverley, Kyle and their little boy Ethan in a Thorntons cafe prior to their wedding and we spoke through all of their plans over a Hot Chocolate with marshmellows. It was then I realised how much fun they were and how relaxed their wedding day was going to be.
The moment I walked in the room of the Bridal Suite in the Mercure Danum hotel, Doncaster I was greeted with six beaming smiles. Beverley was so relaxed and excited it was infectious to us all.
Victoria’s Vanity MUA did such a fantastic job with all of the girls and especially Beverley’s mum who were all full of confidence.
The ceremony was at Doncaster Town Hall and was truly beautiful. Beverley’s Dad was allowed to be realised from hospital for a couple of hours to give his daughter away. I am not ashamed to say that seeing the pride in his face as he walked Beverley down the aisle hand in hand whilst in his wheel chair-brought tears to my eyes, This made me even more determined to capture a moment for them all to treasure and I did manage to catch a precious embrace between Beverley and her Dad and it is to date the photo I am most proud of. I have had messages from family members and Beverley herself to say that I will never know how much that means to them all.
It is moments like that which make my job the best in the world.
Beverley and Kyles night was topped off in absolute style with their unusual first dance song choice from a Heavy Metal artist my wife and i love (It was an acoustic version in case you were imagining a headbanging first dance).
